Heritage Society

The Heritage Society was established to recognize those individuals who have made bequests or other planned gifts to Utah State University. Such generosity and commitment honors our rich heritage and helps us prepare students for a brighter future.

Over the years, many generous alumni, faculty, staff and friends have fueled their passions at Utah State through planned gifts and bequests. The Heritage Society was chartered in the spring of 2002 to celebrate that generosity and to assist those who wish to help strengthen USU through their charitable gift and estate planning.

Planned gifts and bequests offer unique opportunities for individuals, couples and families to advance USU's mission and vision by supporting endowment growth, scholarships, research, capital improvements or a host of other university programs and student services. Such planned gifts typically provide a "win-win" situation for donors, who may obtain financial and/or tax benefits.

By supporting Utah State through planned gifts and bequests, Heritage Society members have the meaningful opportunity to leave a legacy that makes possible an enduring and ever-widening circle of excellence in education for USU students.
